This five-painting series comes from my long-time fascination with mountains. Since I was a little kid, before I ever went hiking, fishing, or canoeing—let alone being up at 12,000 feet—I felt drawn to the mountains. I still do. These landscapes continue to show up in my work, so I guess they are with me for life.

Each painting in this series has its own personality and story, reflected in their titles.
